Developing and improving construction and carpentry skills, preparing job seekers for a career in residential construction
This training program helps both newcomers to and experienced workers hone their skills in the field of construction.
With an emphasis on vocational English, participants learn construction terminology, construction math, hands-on basic carpentry training and jobsite safety. Upon successful completion of the program, participants earn their OSHA 10 Construction Card. Please note, a CASAS test is required prior to enrollment in the program.
Basic Carpentry Training is a 15-week career training program for individuals who demonstrate intermediate English language skills.
Classes are held Monday through Thursday, 5:30pm - 8pm
