It takes a diverse community to build and develop the strengths of individuals. At Dorcas International, we rely on the vital support and assistance our volunteers provide for both clients and staff. Volunteers lend their expertise in various areas of our agency, helping immigrants and refugees achieve self-sufficiency and more. Through their commitment and dedication, volunteers bring a sense of community and connection to our agency, fostering a safe, caring, and supportive environment.
We Love our Volunteers!
Just last year, Dorcas International hosted more than 250 volunteers who spent more than 10,000 hours supporting clients and staff members through our many programs, services, and projects. Invaluable!
How You Can Help
As a volunteer, you can contribute your unique skills and experiences to different aspects of our work. From assisting with language and cultural orientation programs to offering mentorship and guidance on job placement, you can help refugees build lives with dignity and resilience. Additionally, you can lend a hand in providing essential services such as housing support, educational opportunities, and access to community resources.
