Community Focus Groups - Tell us what you think!

Dorcas International has just begun its 2023 strategic planning journey, for which we are seeking broad community input and participation to shape our vision for the future. We believe your perspective will be hugely valuable in this process.

We are currently scheduling a series of community focus groups, interviews and surveys; and we seek to harness your wisdom and creativity in conducting an environmental scan, what we call a “SOAR” analysis of our agency’s…

  • Strengths exemplar practices and services
  • Opportunities for innovation and improvement to better serve our clients
  • Aspirations + Results hopes for the future, most desired impact, and indicators of success

We have partnered with Spartina Consulting, who is facilitating this strength-based, participatory approach to strategy development known as “Appreciative Inquiry”, or AI. We will use AI questions to employ your thoughts and ideas.

We hope you will RSVP by choosing one of the remaining community focus groups which are listed below. Pleaes note, registration is required to attend. Space is limited for in-person sessions.

We’re excited to be able to work with you in this capacity. Thank you in advance for volunteering your time to be a part of this important work.
