Citizenship Prep Course

Help and education on the path to citizenship

This course aims to introduce students to the citizenship exam and educate them on the proper steps to prepare for it. Participants in this course will also have the opportunity to be directly connected with a legal representative from our Citizenship and Immigration Services Program, affording them the chance to ask any immigration-related questions. Classes are run by Department of Justice (DOJ) accredited representatives who have an established experience attending USCIS interviews with clients.

April 21, 2026- June 9, 2026 | Meets weekly on Tuesdays, 5:00pm-6:30pm | Location: 645 Elmwood Avenue, Providence, RI

Cost

The fee to enroll for this program is $200. Payment is due upon acceptance into the class.

Requirements

Basic English language skills | Eligible for naturalization (must have green card)

Tutoring Sessions - Now Registering

We are also offering an "alternative to the classes" which is a 30-minute, one-on-one tutoring session for individuals who have already filed for naturalization. In addition, each student will receive a free 30-minute session with a Citizenship & Immigration Services Intern.

Tutoring as needed/upon request | Location: 645 Elmwood Avenue, Providence, RI | $50 per session fee with a maximum of two paid sessions
